This is going to be a different email than usual, but I’m sure you’re going to love it.

This Sunday marks the 67th Grammy Awards, and I couldn't resist digging into what all the past Album of the Year winners have in common.n.

I analyzed EVERYTHING.

And when I say everything, I mean everything:

  • Demographics

  • Record label

  • Genre

  • What they wore to the red carpet

  • Sex

  • Age

  • Word count of their songs

  • Previous nominations

  • Instagram followers

  • Spotify listeners

  • YouTube views

  • Themes of their album

📌 You get the point.

But there was no clear pattern…

Until I analyzed how many concerts an artist performed the year they won.

And oh boy, did I notice something.

For the past 14 years, most Album of the Year winners have performed more concerts than their peers.

🔥 Bruno Mars played over 100 concerts in 2017 with his 24K Magic World Tour.
🔥 Taylor Swift performed 140+ concerts in 2024 with The Eras Tour.

The outliers? Daft Punk (2014) gave zero concerts and still won. But they’re the exception—not the rule.

So what does this mean for you and me?

We are the rule, not the exception.

We need to get our reps in.

The more you practice your craft, the better you become. And the more society rewards you for it.

So let this be your sign to keep going. 🚀

And my money? It’s on Taylor Swift winning Album of the Year this weekend with 140+ concerts under her belt.
